Oct. 23rd, 2006 12:19 pmI'm in the market for a new DSLR camera, which of course means browsing websites, readng reviews, and trying to Make My Mind Up (with new stuff coming out every week, or so it seems, fat chance of that.)
To give me some peace from the welter of megapixels, optical stabilizers, dust-removers and above all scary prices (I used to think a professional-level Nikon F1 was expensive...) I've taken to visiting a number of sites which look back at old, sometimes very old, film cameras: the sort of stuff my father and grandfather used to use. On one of them, I found this quote.
In terms of getting things wrong, it's right up with the medal-winners.
